Text to animated video: write a script, get a finished video

Paste a paragraph and get a narrated, animated video back. Text to animated video is the fastest way from an idea to something people will actually watch — no camera, no drawing, no editing timeline.

Each paragraph becomes a scene

How text becomes animation

The maker reads your text the way an editor would. Blank lines split it into scenes. A short line on its own above a paragraph becomes the on-screen title; the paragraph becomes the narration. If you paste one long block, it is cut into scenes of about two sentences each.

Each scene is then given a layout, an animation and a duration. The AI voice reads the narration, and the scene lasts exactly as long as that takes plus a short pause — so the pacing is natural without you touching a timeline. Titles animate in (handwritten, word-by-word, typed or rising), and optional captions highlight every word as it is spoken.

Text-only videos still look designed

You do not need a single image. Scenes without a picture become bold typographic scenes: the title fills the frame in the style's display face, important words get a highlighter swipe, and small hand-drawn doodles appear in the corners. Plenty of high-performing social videos are nothing more than well-timed text and a good voice.

When you do have pictures, add them in the Script tab and they are placed on scenes in order. Logos, screenshots, product shots and illustrations all work, and each is animated automatically — sketched by a pen, popped in, slowly zoomed or dropped like a photo.

Formatting tricks that make a big difference

  • Title lines: put a short headline (under 70 characters, no full stop) on the line above a paragraph.
  • Highlights: wrap a word in *stars* to make it pop: Save *one hour* a day.
  • Headings only: start a line with # to make a title card with no narration.
  • Pacing: shorter paragraphs mean faster cuts. For social, aim for one sentence per scene.

Any language in, any language out

Text to animated video works in every language you can type. The maker detects the language of your script and picks a matching AI voice — 49 languages are covered by neural voices, and for anything else you can record your own narration scene by scene. Translating a video is as simple as pasting the translated script into the same project: the pictures, style and music stay; the voice and timing update.

From text to MP4

When the preview looks right, export an MP4 at 720p or 1080p in landscape, vertical or square. The whole thing is rendered on your own computer, which is why there is no queue, no watermark and no cost. Try it now on the animated video maker, or read how to write an animated video script first.

Frequently asked questions

How long can the text be?
There is no fixed limit. A minute of video is roughly 150 spoken words. For long scripts, keep paragraphs short so each scene stays focused.
Do I need images?
No. Scenes without images become animated typographic scenes with highlights and doodles. Images make most videos stronger, though, so add them where you have them.
Can I edit a scene after the video is built?
Yes. The Scenes tab lets you change every title, narration, image, animation and duration, and the video re-times itself instantly.
