Works on whatever you have
Windows, macOS, ChromeOS, Linux, iPad and Android all work, because the only requirement is a modern browser. Chrome and Edge give the best experience — they support WebCodecs, which exports MP4 faster than real time. Firefox and Safari work too, recording the export in real time.
What “online” means here
Most online animation makers are thin web pages in front of a cloud server: you upload files, the server renders, you wait in a queue, then download. This one is different. The page loads once, then everything happens locally:
- Drawing: every frame is painted on an HTML canvas by the animation engine.
- Voice: neural text-to-speech models run in a background worker using WebAssembly or WebGPU.
- Music: soundtracks are synthesised with the Web Audio API, to the exact length of your video.
- Export: the MP4 is encoded with the browser's hardware video encoder.
- Saving: projects are stored in your browser's IndexedDB, so they are there when you come back.
A live preview, not a render button
Because nothing waits on a server, the preview is live. Change a word and the title re-animates; switch style and the whole video re-skins; drag a scene up the list and the timeline reflows instantly. Press play to hear the mix — voice, music and sound effects — exactly as it will export.
Offline after the first visit
Once the page and a voice model have loaded, you can keep working without a connection. That is handy on trains, planes and in classrooms with unreliable Wi-Fi.
